Ep. 41 | Using Your Podcast Pitch to Pitch All the Things with Lisa Lisson

Mar 2, 2021 | 0 comments

We’ve talked in the past about pitching to your niche. My guest today has taken that to the extreme by using her podcast pitch to pitch #allthethings. She continues to develop the areas where she can get in front of – and bring value to – new audiences.

Lisa Lisson is a genealogy researcher and the creator of the Are You My Cousin? blog and joined the Go Pitch Yourself program in January 2020. And even though her zone of genius might initially appear quite narrow, she has used what she has learned to capitalize on a wide variety of situations where she can bring value to audiences.

As a genealogy researcher, Lisa Lisson takes the overwhelm out of genealogy research and keeps researchers moving forward finding their ancestors. Whether researching ancestors alongside clients or writing how-to articles and books, Lisa uses her 12 years of research experience to help others build a solid research plan, find the needed genealogy records, and get the most out of those resources.
